Jean-Baptiste Maillant & Antoine Sentenac

Jean-Baptiste and Antoine have known each other since childhood, or almost. Natural-born entrepreneurs and friends since middle school, they developed their first business together during their high school years. After a few months immersed in the e-commerce ecosystem, they discovered that many brands were hitting a growth ceiling due to the logistical obstacles and the fragmentation of their inventory between warehouses and stores. With a few contacts and a boundless ambition to revitalize a stagnant sector, they launched Wing in October 2015.

Wing's birth

Wing was born out of a pain point identified when Jean-Baptiste and Antoine were developing the e-commerce activity of an online optical website. Time-consuming and costly, shipping orders from their store did not meet the expectations of a growing e-commerce site. To save time and improve their daily operations, they decided to create the solution they needed to manage order shipping: Wing.
